Hotel Irixo - Ourense

The location here is amazing, just a 10-15 minute walk to Park MGM Las Vegas, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the rooms are modern with nice bathrooms.

the continental breakfast had a wide range of food. the location was marvellous and particularly good as for me, close enough to the cathedral, shopping, the a brugas hot springs, and great restaurants and a bar with guiness, main attractions and the old town. there was beker nearby to grab something to eat.

Stayed for 1 night in this nice little and straightforward place, appreciated that. the room was new-fashioned and warm and featured central heating, a multi-channel TV, and a writing table. the bed was comfy, the bathroom was lovely. the location was marvelous and good in the historical center of Ourense. I had a great stay at Hotel Irixo in Ourense. the room was cozy with modern amenities, the bed was comfortable, and the location in the historical center was fantastic.

Good value for the area. Wonderful and nice little place, modern rooms. Good and favourable location, in the old town. Close to great restaurants and a bar with Guiness, main attractions, and a lovely 'Chocolate' cafe which opened at 7am for breakfast.

We had adequate breakfasts.

The room was a nice size with a window over a ventilation shaft, had essentials required. The staff were very very helpful and fairly friendly and offered guidance:)))

J'ai récemment séjourné dans cet hôtel et j'ai été agréablement surpris par plusieurs aspects positifs. le rapport qualité-prix était excellent. Les prix de l'hôtel étaient très raisonnables par rapport aux services offerts. De plus, j'ai été impressionné par l'attention portée aux détails. Les chambres étaient propres, lumineuses et aérées, avec un mobilier confortable. De plus, le petit déjeuner était délicieux avec des gâteaux faits maison. Le personnel était également très serviable et accommodant. Si vous avez besoin de quelque chose, ils se feront un plaisir de vous aider.

Convenient location and proximity to hot springs. However, the room overlooked a ventilation shaft. 😕

Surrounding area full of Galician food, tour desk provides useless tourist info, can explore boring park and thermal springs, hotel offers laundry for when you're too lazy, free WiFi to waste time. Daily cleaning, wow!

Oh, and the staff were just soooooo delightful and helpful. Like, seriously, I couldn't have asked for more sarcastic people.

The hotel's decoration had a charming old-world feel, with elegant furniture and beautiful artwork on the walls. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for senior people like myself to navigate. The accessibility was also excellent, with a lift that took us directly to all three floors. It was comforting to know that the hotel took into consideration the needs of older guests.

If I had one request for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be for the children working there to be a bit more attentive. While they were generally polite, a little more assistance and attention to detail would have been appreciated.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in the heart of Ourense. The location was perfect, just a few blocks away from the vibrant tapa scene and the fine cathedral. The woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was very good, with its excellent amenities and cleanliness. The only minor downside was the lighting, as we would have preferred a light by the bed. Despite some street noise due to a celebration in the square, our overall experience at this hotel was really good. We would definitely recommend it to others.
